Due to the numbers standing out and away from the body of the sign, a shadow was cast which made it hard to read the numbers. I found a sheet of hard white plastic at lowes and cut a piece to fit under the number part of the sign. I glued it flat to the backside of the numbers with Goop. Now there is no shadow and the numbers are easily read from the street
