The world is changing in so many ways! My students had a natural interest in graphic novels and I really wanted to support this interest even while I taught core standards for literacy and writing. This book helped me feel confident that I could meet this goal using graphic novels from my local library and my students' efforts to express themselves. It has been a wonderful journey to see my students' creativity expand as they learn new techniques in this genre. Thanks Katie!
