I ordered this hat to go along with a costume I will be using this Halloween. When I received this I noticed that there is an elastic chin strap wasn't pointed out in the original description of the product. I still plan on using this and will find a way to make it work but had I known about this elastic strap, I would have re-considered.Love it. It came with a string to use around the head to hold it on, but i managed to glue on a small comb instead, which hold up fine.I got this for a masquerade party I went to. I was doing sort of a Steampunk Masquerade theme with my outfit and this little hat just made the outfit! I got so many compliments on it and it was adorable! It also stayed on very well and for the most part was comfortable. I actually wore it a bit differently because having the strap run under my chin was annoying, so I wore it more like a headband with the strap being under my hair and the hat tilted a little more forward, but I was incredibly comfortable in it when it fell like that.Hat came with some of the gears and pieces missing and broken off in the box. Harden glue trailed over the front of the hat where I am assuming the missing pieces were supposed to be affixed. I saw other reviews mention similar issues but bought it anyway because it goes with the whole costume I am putting together. I have bought a bag of gears so I will fix it up, but buyers beware....Based on the poor quality I think it is worth about half the price they are currently asking (I paid $22 my opinion it is worth about half that)Just like it was previously said. My item came broken. All the gear came off and the hot glue was the only thing left on the hat and material. It is not like what the picture looks like. I have less than 10 gears and only 1 key instead of the 2. It was as if the person making it didn't care anymore and just slapped on a few gears and 1 key on to it with hot glue. I am disappointed for paying 25$ just for a hat with blobs of hot glue and no gears. I am just going to ask for a refundI love the look of the hat, I did not however realize that it had an elastic band to hold it onto your head.Very cute hat used for steampunk party. Elastic on hat was way too tight under mych in. Needs longer elastic to be comfortable.I thought this would be a simple costume hat for a video I'm shooting. The quality was higher than expected and the added gears detail was a nice surprise. Great value.
